I was doubtful at first...

I must confess, when first approached to try the Consoli ligature, I was doubtful at best that ligature alone could make any difference at all in the quality, response and tone of my horn. But after only a few minutes of playing with the Consoli RAMPLIG  I realized that there was a very big improvement in tone and brightness. I find it hard to explain but there was a great improvement in all-round response.
After using the Consoli RAMPLIG I find that the old soggy reed that should be replaced, now still has lots of life in it. I don't know why or how, but the Consoli RAMPLIG certainly has made a big improvement in my sax playing.
I whole heartedly recommend that all sax players give the Consoli a trial test. I'm sure you will be as pleased as I was with the results. Musically yours, Fred Lehotay
